Intro |

This workshop marks the first time that the Central Academy of Fine Arts has brought art students into a real molecular biology laboratory to engage in artistic creation. In this hands-on workshop students will gain direct bio art experience through a series of exercises, culminating in the production of individual or collaborative artworks. Students will grow cells sampled from their own bodies, extract DNA from other organisms, create images with a bacterial palette, and transform bacteria with GFP (green fluorescent protein) in order to make a luminous living artwork.

细胞生物学-学习从自身体内提取细胞进行培养;

分子生物学-从其他生物身上提取DNA;

微生物学-通过培育微生物绘制图形;
